5th Sunday of Lent: The Raising of Lazarus from Death
Bible Text: Ezekiel 37:1-14, Psalm 130, Romans 6:15-23, John 11:1-44 | Preacher: Fr. Jim Cheetham | Series: Lent | The story of the raising of Lazarus from death features three of Jesus’ close friends: Martha, Mary and Lazarus.
Jesus gives us the dignity to own our sorrows when grieving. He brings comfort to us by sharing our sorrows with us. He bears our grieves and shares our sorrows. Because we grieve differently, He knows us and ministers his comfort to us differently. The raising of Lazarus is proof for us that Jesus is the ressurection and the life so that we will believe that he is the son of God.
